1. 什麼人可以開設國際帳戶？

　　如果您目前是中國大陸、臺灣和香港公民並在這些區域居住，您可以開設國際帳戶。如果您來自中國大陸、臺灣和香港，並且本年度在美國短期居留不超過183天 (但持有F,J,M,Q簽證者不在此限)，您也應具備申請資格。

　　If you are a citizen of China, Taiwan or Hong Kong and also a resident of these regions, you are eligible to open an international brokerage account with Scottrade. If you are from China, Hong Kong or Taiwan, and have been residing in the U.S. for less than 183 days during the present calendar year (individuals holding an F, J, M, Q visa are exempt) , you are also eligible to open international account.

　　No. Only citizens of China, Taiwan or Hong Kong and residents in these regions are qualified for applying Scottrade's international accouts. US Residents cannot open an account with non-U.S. resident aliens.

　　I am a Canadian resident. Can I open an international account?

　　Complete the application and W-8BEN form for non-U.S. resident aliens. Please go to Scottrade's Form Center to download these forms.

　　b). 在"國際帳戶申請表"與"W-8BEN表"表格底頁簽名。

　　Sign the application and W-8BEN forms.

　　注意!"W-8BEN表"不適用於:非美國居民本年度在美國居住超過183天(含183天),但持有F,J,M,Q簽證者不在此限。

　　Note: Do not use the W-8BEN form for a U.S. nonresident alien physically present in the U.S. for 183 days or more during the present calendar year. However, individuals holding an "F," "J," "M"or "Q" visa may use this form.

　　c). 附上護照內頁所有申請人照片、簽名、個人資料影本。

　　Provide a copy of the inside pages of your passport, including photo, signature and personal information.

　　如果您沒有護照，請附上有照片的身份證影本並在影本上簽名。

　　If you don't have a passport, provide a a signed copy of your resident card.

　　附上銀行月結單，家用水電瓦斯帳單或貸款帳單影本作為永久居住地址證明。

　　Yes, you can fax or email the application documents to Scottrade Asia Pacific Service Center to open account. If your account is established using faxed or emailed documents, we do ask you to send in the original documents as soon as possible. Before we receive your original documents, you can log into your online account and deposit funds, but you cannot place trades.

　　6. 需要多少錢才能開設國際帳戶？

　　What is the initial deposit to open an international brokerage account?

　　現金帳戶最低開戶要求只要美金$500元； 融資融券帳戶最低開戶金額為美金$2,000元或等值有價證券。

　　Only $500 minimum equity is required to open a cash account, $2,000 for a margin account.

　　7. 帳戶開設後需要在多少時間內存入資金?

　　How soon do I need to deposit funds into my account after the account is established?

　　您必須在開戶後一個月內存入資金， 否則帳戶將被關閉。 若有特殊原因暫時無法存款，可以在到期日之前聯係史考特證券要求保留帳戶。帳戶 一旦被關閉後您若還想使用史考特證券，則必須重新申請開戶。

　　You must deposit funds into your account within 1 month after your account is established, otherwise, your account will be closed. If for some specific reason, you are not able to deposit funds within the said period, please contact us before the due date to keep your account. Once your account is closed, you will need to resubmit application forms in order to establish a new account with Scottrade.

　　9. 我可以將他人支票存入我的帳戶中嗎？

　　Can I deposit a third party check?

　　可以,但是此人必須是史考特證券的客戶,他或她 需要填寫授權書。

　　Yes, but the third party must be Scottrade customer. In addition, the third party must complete a Letter of Authorization form.

　　10. 提領資金時, 我可以指定支票抬頭為他人,或是,我可以將資金匯入他人的帳戶嗎？

　　If I want to withdraw funds, can the check be made payable to a third party or can Scottrade wire my funds to a third party's bank account?

　　不可以, 此領款支票的支票抬頭只能是帳戶持有人並且只能寄至您帳戶中的地址,此外,欲匯出之資金也只能匯入帳戶持有人的銀行帳戶。

　　No. The check can only be made payable to the account holders and must be mailed to your address. Also, Scottrade can wire funds to the account holders' bank accounts only.

　　11. 我已把錢匯出(或支票寄出)，什麼時候才能顯示於我的帳戶中？

　　After wiring funds or sending a check, how soon will the money appear in my account?

　　通常款項匯入24小時後(境外匯款時間最長可達一星期)，您可在網路上查得您的匯入款。 若您存入您美國當地銀行的支票,您須等到支票兌現，或十個工作日(兩者之中以先發生為準)您才可以使用這筆資金。另外, 若您存入匯票或銀行本票(付款銀行必須要有美國銀行協會號碼,即ABA number,此外,我們目前不接受demand draft匯票),下一個工作日便能使用此筆資金。

　　Usually your will see the money in your account within 24 hours. Wiring funds from outside the U.S. may take up to one week. Your check will be held until the funds are cleared or for ten business days (whichever occurs first). If you deposit money order or cashier's check (payer must have an ABA number and we do not accept demand draft), the funds will be available for trading on the next business day.
